April saw the unveiling of the first woman's statue in London's Parliament Square, of Suffragette Millicent Fawcett, with a base plinth featuring images of other important men and women in the Suffrage movement, one of them being Princess Sophia Duleep Singh.
The statue by award winning artist Gillian Wearing was unveiled amid huge crowds with speeches by Prime Minister Theresa May and the London Mayor Sadiq Khan.
